Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Chapkynchy, Suzak District, Jalal-Abad Region.
Graduated from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (1954). Worked as a leading research fellow at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.
Specialist in the history of national-state building in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and the Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Published more than 80 scientific works, including 14 monographs.
Under his supervision, 6 candidate dissertations have been defended.
