Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kun-Chygysh in the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region. Graduated from the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute (1951).
Worked in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, as an editor of the republican "Teacher's Newspaper," junior and senior research associate at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the sector at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Pedagogy.
A specialist in the pre-revolutionary history of Kyrgyzstan in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Awarded medals of the USSR, Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Published more than 130 scientific works, one of the authors of "History of the Kyrgyz SSR," published in 1963 and 1968.
