Russian. Born in Lyubertsy, Moscow Oblast, Russia.

Graduated from the Moscow Geological Exploration Institute (MGRI, 1943).

Worked as a senior and chief geologist of a geological party and expedition at the Geological Management of the Kyrgyz Republic, currently at Moscow State University (MSU, Moscow).

Specialist in the field of geology and metallogeny.

Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
