Poet Sh. Duyshiev was born on February 29, 1950, in the village of At-Bashi, At-Bashi District, Naryn Region, in a working-class family.
In 1968, he graduated from high school in his native village, and in 1980, he graduated from the philological faculty of K. GU named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR.
From 1968 to 1970, he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army.
From 1970 to 1975, he worked as a laborer at MCO, a concrete worker at PMC, and a correspondent for the district newspaper in At-Bashi.
Since 1980, he has worked as a correspondent for the regional newspaper "Naryn Pravdasy," as an editor for the regional committee on television and radio broadcasting, and since 1983, he has been in charge of the literary department of the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgosphilharmonic.
He has been published since 1968 and is an active participant in collective anthologies and almanacs "Uchkun," "Jalyn." In 1985, his first poetry collection "Aptap" ("Heat") was published.
He has been a member of the Union of Soviet Writers since 1987.
