Ivanov Vladimir Ivanovich (1904-1991),

Doctor of Technical Sciences (1944), Professor (1945), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1960)

Born in the Udmurt ASSR. Graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Faculty of Chemistry).

Worked at the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, as director and head of the laboratory of carbohydrate ether chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.

Specialist in the field of organic chemistry. Awarded the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor, Friendship of Peoples, Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and the Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.

Honored Worker of Science of the Kirghiz SSR. Published over 220 scientific works, including 5 monographs and 40 inventions.

Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 30 candidate dissertations were defended.

1. Development and successes of the viscosimetric method for determining the molecular weights of high molecular weight compounds (co-authored). Moscow - Leningrad, 1949.
