Ivanov Vladimir Ivanovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Born in 1904. Graduated from the Bauman Higher Technical School.
Worked as the head of the laboratory of ether chemistry of carbohydrates, deputy director of the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Specialist in the field of organic chemistry. Main scientific direction: chemistry of macromolecular compounds, comprehensive study of the reactivity of cellulose, and development of methods for controlling chemical processes, obtaining new materials with a wide range of properties.
Awarded the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor, Friendship of Peoples, the Badge of Honor, and medals of the USSR, as well as a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 30 candidate dissertations have been defended.
Published more than 220 scientific works, including 5 monographs, and is the author of 40 inventions.
