Russian. Born in the city of Komsomolsk, Ivanovo region.

Graduated from KSU (1968).

Worked as a laborer, teacher at an evening school for rural youth, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor at KGNU, and since 1999 - head of the Department of Sociology at KGNU.

Specialist in the fields of theory of knowledge, social philosophy, sociology, and synergetics.

Published more than 120 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 1 textbook, and 5 books.
