Kerimbaev Suyun Karimovich (1915),

Doctor of Historical Sciences (1984), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology (1970)

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kuntuu, Sokuluk District, Chui Region.

Graduated from the Faculty of History of Leningrad State University (1941). Worked as the director of the historical museum of the Academy of Sciences, head of the sector of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences, senior and chief research fellow, and since 1991 - scientific consultant of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Specialist in the history of Kyrgyzstan in the 20th century.

Awarded the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor, the Patriotic War, the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificates of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Published over 90 scientific works, including 20 monographs, books, and brochures.
