The communication authorities also improved their work. In a record short time—from July to December 1941—a 533-kilometer line was laid, and 54 border rural councils of the republic were connected by telephone; a telegraph and telephone line was constructed

Pulgon—Haiderken, and telephone communication was established between the mine and the city of Osh; the construction of the communication line Durbeldzhin—Kazarman was completed; the telephone connection of large evacuated enterprises was implemented; three powerful linear-technical communication hubs were created in the most important junction points of the republic: Frunze, Osh, and Rybachye.

The number of postal shipments increased, and the movement of mail improved. In the first year of the war, the communication authorities of Kyrgyzstan received and sent over 12,000 parcels to the front, with a total weight of about 180,000 kg.

Thus, thanks to the tremendous efforts of the Communist Party, the working class, and engineering and technical workers, within a short time during the first year of the war, the socialist industry of the country was switched to the production of goods necessary for the front, and by mid-1942, the transition of the entire national economy to a wartime footing was fully completed. By this time, nearly half of the large enterprises evacuated to the East had been restored and were operational, along with 850 newly built factories, workshops, mines, and quarries. The entire Soviet country, as a united cohesive military camp, had a coordinated and rapidly growing military economy by the end of the year, of which the economy of the Kyrgyz SSR was an inseparable part.

The industry and transport of Kyrgyzstan, restructured for the needs of the front, continuously and increasingly supplied the active army with weapons, ammunition, equipment, and uniforms, while the defense industry received essential strategic raw materials.

The high rates of production of key types of products were a decisive factor that allowed the Soviet state to eliminate the superiority of the German Wehrmacht in armaments by the end of 1942 and to create the necessary material and technical prerequisites for achieving a fundamental turning point in the course of the war. In the complex situation of the struggle against Nazi Germany, "the greatest mobilization capabilities of the socialist, planned economic system, its vitality and effectiveness, the deep patriotism of the Soviet people, and the gigantic organizing power of the party were fully revealed."
