
Asylbek Altymyshbaevich Altymyshbaev (1912-1987), Doctor of Philosophy (1961), Professor (1963), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1954)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Shalba in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region. Graduated from the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute (1963).
Worked as Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences, Senior Researcher, and Director of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR. Specialist in the history of philosophy and social studies.
Awarded the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor, Friendship of Peoples, the Badge of Honor (2), medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificates of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz SSR. Published more than 130 scientific works, including 7 monographs. Under his supervision, 10 candidate dissertations were defended.
