Aliman Zhangorozova
Born in 1914 in the village of Sary-Tologoy, Issyk-Kul region. In 1934, she began working at the Kyrgyz Drama Theater. That same year, she organized a private theater in Uzgen and worked there until 1937. She performed on the stage of the Issyk-Kul Drama Theater (1937–1943). From 1938 to 1945, she was one of the first announcers of Kyrgyz Radio. During this time, she also performed on the stages of the Naryn (1943–1946) and Przhevalsk (1946–1962) Drama Theaters. From 1963 to 1972, she was an actress at the Naryn Musical Drama Theater. From 1972 to 1975, she worked at the Kyrgyz State Drama Theater. Over her 42 years of creative life in the theater, she played more than 160 diverse roles. In film, she appeared starting in 1961.
She played over 160 roles. She had been acting in films since 1961. The actress's filmography includes: "The Sky of Our Childhood" (role of Urem), "Jamilya" (role of Janil), "Scarlet Poppies of Issyk-Kul" (role of Aymzhan), "Fierce" (role of Akhangul's mother), "Smile on the Stone" (role of mother). In 1980, she starred in the film "Village Mosaic".
In 1967, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Kirghiz SSR.
