Worked at the Leningrad and Moscow Institutes of Oriental Studies, in the central bureau for the compilation of the Turkic alphabet, head of the Kyrgyz language sector at the Institute of Language and Literature of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the language and dictionaries sector, senior researcher in the dictionary and terminology sector at the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, professor at the Department of Kyrgyz Language at KGU.
Specialist in Turkic lexicology and linguistics.
Awarded the Orders of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor, and medals of the USSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kirghiz SSR (1940).
Under his supervision, 10 candidate dissertations were defended.
