
Altymyshev Arstanbek Alybaevich (1930-2000), Doctor of Medical Sciences (1968), Professor (1970), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, Laureate of the State Prize of the Kirghiz SSR in the field of science and technology (1970)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kara-Bulak, Kemin District. Graduated from KGMI (1954). Worked as an assistant, head of the pharmacology department at KGMI, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.
Specialist in the field of pharmacology of the alkaloid group. Awarded Honorary Certificates and a Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR. Published over 190 scientific works, including 14 monographs and 20 inventions. Under his supervision, 20 candidate dissertations were defended.
