Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology, Honored Figure of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Born in 1930. Graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.
He was a leading specialist in the field of pharmacotoxicological research of physiologically active substances of both natural and synthetic origin at the intersection of biological, medical, and chemical sciences, as well as their theoretical justification.
He was the first to theoretically justify and implement in the practice of healthcare and the national economy of the USSR healing balms, which are natural complexes of biologically active substances selectively extracted from ecologically clean raw materials, possessing therapeutic effects. The balm "Arashan," developed based on high-altitude medicinal plants of Kyrgyzstan, which has biostimulating properties, has been awarded Honorary Diplomas at international exhibitions in Poznań, Damascus, gold medals at the international fair in Leipzig, VDNH of the USSR, patented in many countries around the world, and implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.
For his significant contribution to the development of pharmacology, he was awarded the medal "For Diligent Labor" and anniversary medals from the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Krapkov medal, the S.L. Korolev medal, and for his contribution to the "Intercosmos" program, he received an Honorary Certificate from the Coordinating Committee of the CMEA countries.
He is the author of the books: "Medicinal Plants of Kyrgyzstan," "Natural Healing Remedies," "Essays on Mumiyo," "Tea, Coffee, and Balms," "Poisons and Antidotes," "Kharufot" (Longevity), published in Russian, English, German, Spanish, and other languages.
More than 500 scientific papers and 15 monographs have been published, and he is the author of over 40 inventions.
