Asanov Usen Asanovich
Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, full member of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Engineering Academy, full member of the New York Academy, honored inventor of the Kyrgyz SSR, honored figure in science and technology of the Kyrgyz Republic, laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology.
Born in 1934. In 1956, he graduated from the Moscow Chemical Technology Institute named after Mendeleev with a degree in "Technology of Electric Vacuum Production.”
He is the organizer and the first chairman of the National Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic (1992-2005).
Currently, he is the chief editor of the Kyrgyz National Encyclopedia.
He has conducted extensive research in the field of synthesis and study of compounds of refractory transition metals, substantiated the scientific direction - chemistry and technology of inorganic materials using electro-erosion phenomena, and created composite materials with high adsorption and catalytic properties. Under his scientific guidance, the Engineering Center “Iskra” was established to implement electro-erosion technologies for processing sludge waste and chips into powders suitable for use in powder metallurgy.
For his contributions to scientific research, he has been awarded the orders of: the Red Banner of Labor (1976), Manas of the 3rd degree (2003), Peter the Great of the 1st degree of the Russian Federation (2007). He received an honorary diploma from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR, the “Dank” medal of the Kyrgyz Republic, and is a laureate of the Balasagyn Prize named after Arabayev and the International Prize "Rukhaniyat." He was included in the International nomination "Man of the Year 2000-2001" by the Cambridge Biographical Center (England) and awarded the Gold Medal of WIPO for outstanding achievements in inventive activity in the nomination "Best Inventor" (2003).
He has published over 300 scientific works, including 12 monographs, 3 encyclopedias, 13 textbooks, and teaching aids. He is the author of 50 inventions.

3. Method for obtaining aluminum hydroxide. Patent No. 465078, 1974, 1972. Implemented at the Novomoskovsk branch of the State Institute of Nitrogen Industry.
4. Method for obtaining acetylacetone from metals. Patent No. 655144, 1978.
5. Method for obtaining complex molybdenum sulfides with metals. Patent No. 1806094, 1993. Implemented at the Kara-Balta Metallurgical Plant.
6. Method for applying graphite coatings on metal products. Patent No. 512674, 1972.
7. Method for obtaining hydrogen. Patent No. 681674, 1978.
