Joshibaev Seithan Joshibaevich
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Full Member of the Academy of Preventive Medicine of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Distinguished Health Worker of the USSR, Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz SSR, Distinguished Health Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Born in 1939. In 1962, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.
He worked as a surgeon in the Naryn Regional Department of Hospital Surgery of the Republican Clinical Hospital, a surgeon at the Department of General Surgery of KSMI, and the head of the Cardiac Surgery Center of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. He is a specialist in cardiovascular surgery and a top-category cardiac surgeon.
He is a member of the Presidium of the Association of Surgical Societies of Kyrgyzstan, a member of the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons, a member of the League of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgeons of the Russian Federation, a member of the Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons of the Russian Federation, and a member of the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgeons.
He has been awarded the "Dank" medal, the Kazakhstan medal "Eren enbegt yuiin," a commemorative medal of Academician V.I. Burakovsky of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, the NAN KR Prize named after Academician I.K. Akhunbaev, a Certificate of Honor from the Association of Surgical Societies of Kyrgyzstan, a Certificate of Honor and the "Altyn Kotr" badge, and Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.
Under his guidance, 1 doctoral and 7 candidate dissertations have been defended. He has published 148 scientific works and is the author of 8 inventions.
