Asakeev Asanbek (1939), Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor (1991).Kyrgyz. Graduated from the M. Kureneev Music College (1957), State Institute of Arts named after Kurmangazy (Alma-Ata, 1969).
Worked at the Kyrgyz State Philharmonic as an orchestra artist, lecturer at KJPI, lecturer and director of the M. Kureneev Music College, vice-rector, and since 1995 - rector of the B. Beishenaliev Kyrgyz State Institute of Arts.
Specialist in the field of musical arts. Academician of the Public Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1992). Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1958). Laureate of the All-Union Festival of Youth and Students (1957).
Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz SSR (1980). More than 30 scientific works published.
