Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Barskoon, Jeti-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul region.
Graduated from Przhevalsky State Pedagogical Institute (1962), postgraduate studies at KGU.
Worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor, head of the Department of Russian and Foreign Literature, dean of the Philological Faculty of KGJPI, and since 2000 - professor of the Department of Kyrgyz Literature and Culture at I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State University.
Specialist in the field of Russian and Kyrgyz literature.
Awarded medals of the USSR.
Honored Worker of Public Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000).
Published more than 40 scientific works, including monographs and textbooks.
Under her supervision, the first candidate's dissertation was defended.
