Andrievsky Rostislav Alexandrovich

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.

Born in 1933. In 1955, he graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and in 1958, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Institute of Metal Ceramics and Special Alloys of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR.

He worked as a researcher at the Institute of Metal Ceramics of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, head of a laboratory, head of a department at the Podolsk Scientific Research Institute, and deputy director of the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.

Specialist in metallurgy and materials science.

Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 25 candidate dissertations have been defended.

He has published more than 350 scientific works, including 9 monographs, and is the author of 50 inventions.

3. Method for producing tungsten carbide powder. Patent No. 1450231, 1989.

5. Method for manufacturing rods from refractory materials. Patent No. 16111572, 1990.
