Bykov Yakov Vasilievich (1913-1988)

Chuvash. Graduated from Kazan University (1938). Worked as head of the department, vice-rector for science at KGU, head of the department at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, head of the department at the Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute, head of the department at KGU, senior researcher, consultant at the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR. Specialist in the field of integral-differential equations.
Awarded orders of the Great Patriotic War, medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Council of the Kirghiz SSR. Honored Worker of Science of the Kirghiz SSR (1963). Published over 150 scientific works, including 7 monographs.
Under his supervision, doctoral and candidate dissertations were defended.
