Uzbek. Born in the city of Chimkent, Kazakh SSR. Graduated from KGU (1960).
Worked as a junior and senior researcher, head of a group, and head of the laboratory at the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of upper atmosphere physics, solar-terrestrial relations, and others.
Published more than 200 scientific works, including 15 monographs and 4 textbooks.
Under his supervision, 6 candidate dissertations have been defended.
