Malenkulov Abakir Slanovich
Applied artist. Born on December 7, 1957, in the village of Aral, Toguz-Toro District, Naryn Region, Kyrgyz SSR. In 1981, he graduated from the S.A. Chuykov Kyrgyz State Art School, and in 2004, he completed the Culture Faculty of the I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State Pedagogical University. In 1982, he worked as a decorator at the Kyrgyz State Philharmonic, in 1986 as a designer at the Art Fund of the Kyrgyz SSR, and from 1980 to 1986, he was a decorator at the Kyrgyz State Philharmonic. From 1986 to 1990, he served as a master of vocational training at the S. Chokmorov Art School.
Turning to the heritage of folk art, Abakir Malenkulov does not forget the functional basis of his works - their utilitarian nature. His works are aimed at creating mass-produced items.
Participant in republican exhibitions. Malenkulov's works are held in private collections.
Since 1991, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.
