Belekov Tokturbay (1941), Doctor of Veterinary Sciences (2000).Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Boz-Beshik, Jeti-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul region. Graduated from the Przhevalsky Agricultural Technical School (1960), Almaty Veterinary Institute (1967). Worked as a laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant, junior researcher, and senior researcher at the Agricultural Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR, senior researcher at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine. Since 1986 - head of the virology laboratory at the Kyrgyz State Scientific Research Veterinary Control Institute KAA.
Specialist in the field of virology. Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR. Published over 60 scientific works, including 1 monograph.
