Kyrgyz. Born in the Kulatov state farm in the Nookat district of the Osh region.
Graduated from the FPI (1969), postgraduate studies at the IFMG AN Kirg SSR and VNIMI (Leningrad, 1979).
Worked as a mechanizer at the state farm, a mining master in a geological expedition, a loading master, a mining transportation dispatcher at the ore management, a senior quality inspector for coal supply, a senior laboratory assistant, a junior researcher, head of a group, head of the laboratory at the IFMG AN Kirg SSR, associate professor at FPI, professor, and since 1999 - dean of KG-MI.
Specialist in the field of rock mechanics and technology for the development of mineral deposits.
Published over 110 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 3 inventions, and 1 scientific discovery (1998).
Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
