Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Tarsu, Kemin District, Chui Region.
Graduated from KGU (1965), postgraduate studies at FPI and Moscow State University (Moscow, 1976).
Worked as a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor at FPI, head of department, dean, professor, vice-rector, and since 1999 - professor, head of the department at KGU STA. Specialist in the field of fluid and gas mechanics.
Academician of the Russian Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (2001). Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (2001). Published over 100 scientific works, including 1 monograph, 3 textbooks, and 5 teaching aids.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
