Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Karoool, Kadamjai (Frunze) district, Osh region.

Graduated from Osh State Pedagogical Institute (Osh, 1975), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Estonian SSR (Tartu, 1982), and doctoral studies there (1992).

Worked as a teacher at a secondary school, senior laboratory assistant at Osh State Pedagogical Institute, research intern at the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Estonian SSR (Tartu), lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, leading researcher at Osh State Pedagogical Institute, head of department, deputy dean for academic work at Osh State University, and since 1997 - director of the Kyzyl-Kiya branch of Osh State University.

Specialist in the field of solid-state physics.

Published more than 80 scientific works, including 1 monograph.
