In Bishkek, the main architectural inspection, operating within the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan, has begun checking the facades of apartment buildings. This initiative is being carried out in accordance with the "Design Code of the city of Bishkek."
The second phase of the implementation of the Design Code is now starting. During this phase, it is planned to systematize:
- the placement of external air conditioning units;
- the arrangement of internet and electrical wires on facades;
- unauthorized glazing of balconies;
- the expansion of balconies, which is strictly prohibited according to established rules.
It is important to note that according to the Design Code, internet wires must be laid inside the building, not outside. Additionally, air conditioning units should be placed next to windows, as provided for in the residential building project.
