
According to the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry, the project includes the construction of a fish farming facility for breeding fish in cages at the Kurpsay Reservoir, a sturgeon farm in the village of Kumush-Aziz, as well as a fish processing plant with shock freezing lines. Upon completion of the project, it is planned to produce 5,000 tons of trout and 270 tons of sturgeon annually, as well as the creation of food caviar.

The project will lay the foundation for a new industry for the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions, and will also create opportunities for the implementation of modern aquaculture technologies and digital monitoring. As a result of the project implementation, more than 40 new jobs will be created.
