Currently, harvesting work is actively continuing in the region. So far, beets have been harvested from 600 hectares of fields.
The average yield is 360 centners per hectare, and the total volume of harvested beets has reached 21,600 tons, which have been sent to collection points.
Farmers and agricultural services are not stopping their harvesting work, paying special attention to the quality and preservation of the harvested crop. Forecasts for this year suggest that the amount of harvested sugar beet will be higher than in previous years.
