The increase in investment volume was primarily made possible by the growth of domestic funding sources, which rose by 27.4%, while external sources showed a decline.
Approximately 85% of the total investment is directed towards construction in sectors such as mining and manufacturing, transport infrastructure, energy, education, and housing construction.
Key factors contributing to the growth of investments include:
- the implementation of the "Menin Üyüm" program, which supports housing construction;
- investments by mobile operators in the modernization and development of networks;
- increased funding for educational facilities;
- development of urban infrastructure in Bishkek and Osh;
- increased investments in sports facilities;
- expansion of tourism infrastructure.
As a result of active investment processes, the gross output of construction for the nine months of 2025 amounted to 222.9 billion soms, which is 29.6% more than in the same period last year (in January–September 2024, the growth was 33.7%).
The construction sector has a positive impact on GDP, adding 1.96 percentage points, while its share in the GDP structure is 7.9%.
