- On October 23, analysts from the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) presented their findings on the state of warehouse real estate in the Eurasian region (October 2025). From 2021 to the first quarter of 2025, the volume of modern warehouse space in the region increased from 44 to 58 million square meters. It is projected that more than 20 million square meters of warehouses will be built by 2040, of which 1.6 million square meters will be located in Central Asia. Kyrgyzstan ranks third among the countries in the region in terms of the amount of warehouse space planned for construction, expecting the construction of 395 thousand sq. m. in the coming years. "In connection with the implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project, the main focus is on transforming the country into a transit hub and replacing outdated warehouses with modern ones," emphasized EDB experts.
