During the meeting, the socio-economic indicators of the region for the first nine months of 2025 were analyzed.
One of the main topics of discussion was the shortage of young specialists in the medical field. In response to this, several initiatives are being implemented in the Talas region, including additional payments of 40,000 soms for doctors who have just started working in the region.
However, statistics from the past nine months are alarming: 33 cases of infant mortality under one year old. In 90% of these cases, the cause was infectious diseases in newborns, which is related to the fact that many women did not undergo timely registration for pregnancy and did not receive the necessary medical examinations.
Regional authorities emphasized that the mortality rate remains high. In this regard, a decision was made to create a special commission to study the causes and develop measures aimed at addressing them.
