According to a Turmush correspondent, the head of the family, Oibek Abdullaev, who was working in South Korea, returned to Kyrgyzstan to say goodbye to his loved ones. Representatives of the city administration, deputies, and local residents attended the funeral.
Among the deceased are Oibek's wife, Sadbar, and their children: Mukhammedkadir (13 years old), Rayona (11 years old), Saida (9 years old), Safiya (6 years old), and Mukhammedali (2 years old).
The fire that claimed the lives of the family occurred on the night of October 22 in a house on Orozbekov Street. A 34-year-old woman and her five children, aged 13, 11, 9, 6, and 2 years, died. It is believed that the fire broke out in the basement and quickly engulfed the roof.
Turmush reports that the fire started in the basement of a house in the On-Adyr residential area. Experts suggest that repair work and the use of an electric heater may have triggered the blaze.
