Creative Inspiration: Venera Saadanbekova from the Tyup District Creates Unique Paintings.

Venera Saadanbekova, a 47-year-old resident of the village of Tyup in the Issyk-Kul region, is actively engaged in the arts, creating paintings worth up to 50,000 soms.

As reported by Turmush correspondent, Venera works at the Tyup District Center for Children's and Youth Creativity, where she leads a club called "Sand and Fantasy." In her work, she draws inspiration from family traditions inherited from her parents. "I was born in 1977 into a large family of eight children. My father worked in welding and blacksmithing, while my mother was a true craftsman in needlework. This led me to the artistic field," she shares.

Venera began to seriously engage in drawing in the third grade thanks to an inspiring art teacher. After successfully graduating from Kaykin Secondary School in 1994, she enrolled in the Issyk-Kul State University named after Kasym Tynystanov in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Drawing. In 1998, she got married, and now she and her husband are raising three daughters and two sons.

Saadanbekova also noted that over her 25-year professional career, she has worked in various government institutions, including architecture and teaching in schools. "I have experience working as a land issues specialist in the ayil okmotu. For the past four years, I have been leading a club where I teach children various drawing techniques, including creating three-dimensional paintings from building materials such as plaster and putty, as well as working with sand and gouache," she said.

In her free time, Venera enjoys painting landscapes, portraits, and using epoxy resin techniques. She particularly values her three-dimensional paintings made from building materials, as she considers them unique.

Although interest in her works has slightly decreased now, she notes that compared to last year, interest in folk art is still growing. The minimum price for her paintings is 200 soms, while the price for more complex works can reach 50,000 soms. "My creativity not only helps me relax but also develops visual perception and certainly benefits science," adds the artist.
