Rest in Kyrgyzstan is a pleasant bonus for eco-tourists

Kyrgyzstan or Kirghizia – a diamond in the Asian crown of ancient empires.

The country is still little explored by tourists. The reason lies mostly in the lack of sufficient information about the region's features. Therefore, it is not particularly popular among Russian travel enthusiasts. And this is quite unjustified — in terms of the abundance of natural and historical attractions, opportunities for beach recreation, treatment, and skiing, this country truly has no equal. A walk through the enchanting blooming meadows and the purest blue lakes is so impressive that it creates a desire to come back here again.

Kyrgyzstan can rightfully be called a pearl among the countries of Central Asia. A state unique, primarily for its nature. On the territory of Kyrgyzstan are the "heavenly mountains" of the Tian Shan and the ridges of the Pamirs, where the largest glaciers of the Earth are located, mighty mountains with icy peaks, and rushing rivers with noisy waterfalls.

Here lies the riches of Genghis Khan, the purest high-altitude lake Issyk-Kul, grow relict walnut forests, and hot sulfur springs flow. This land was traversed by the Great Silk Road, which played no small role in shaping the interesting traditions here.

The Kyrgyz people cherish and honor their history, which is why many archaeological monuments from different eras have been preserved throughout the territory – caves of primitive people, runic symbols on boulders, rock paintings, elements of ancient settlements, stone sculptures, and medieval structures. All this harmoniously blends with modern buildings.

Kyrgyzstan has prepared a lot of surprises: colorful yurts and felt carpets (and quite decent hotels), kumys and Osh pilaf, traditional horse competitions, songs, fairy tales, and legends. In short, Asia in all its glory — that is what Kyrgyzstan is!
