Top Five Resorts in the CIS

The analytical agency "TurStat" has compiled a ranking of CIS resorts popular for summer vacations in 2018. The list of the best destinations was published on the agency's official website.

The top five resorts include the Burabay (Borovoe) resort in Kazakhstan, Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan, Lake Naroch in Belarus, the beaches of Bilgah in Baku on the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan, and Lake Sevan in Armenia.

At the same time, the cheapest option is at Issyk-Kul (50 dollars), while the most expensive is at the resorts in Baku on the Caspian Sea (100 dollars).

According to the agency, the average duration of stay at these resorts is from 7 to 14 days, and most Russian tourists come from Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Southern Urals, and Siberia.
