The car accident took place at the 6.7 km mark of the Balykchy–Ananyevo–Karakol highway. The truck driver, trying to avoid a collision with the pedestrian, lost control of the vehicle.
Witnesses of the incident were able to capture the moment of the accident on video.
This information was confirmed by the regional internal affairs department. According to the agency, the traffic accident occurred on October 20 between the villages of Sary-Kamysh and Kyzyl-Örük [Kyzyl-Oruk].
The driver of the KamAZ, a resident of Chui region, was traveling from east to west and was forced to maneuver sharply when the pedestrian suddenly appeared on the road. As a result, the truck veered off the highway, sustaining mechanical damage while transporting potatoes.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
