According to her, she hesitated for a long time to file a report with the police due to shame, fear, and the desire to keep the incident a secret from her relatives.
“I couldn’t file a report; I was so ashamed... It happened in the spring, and I still can’t get rid of these thoughts. I tried to resist, but he was much stronger. He said that I would never get my license if I didn’t obey. I begged him to stop, but he replied that it was nothing serious, that such things happen,” she shared on her social media.
The Internal Affairs Department of the October District of Bishkek confirmed that an investigation has been initiated into the case. “The fact has been registered, and an investigation has begun. Police officers are working to establish the identity of the accused. This incident is under the control of the leadership,” the press service of the law enforcement agencies reported.
The police noted that the investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided upon completion.
