According to information from the district veterinary department, this animal was previously known for its aggressiveness and was kept without proper control, despite a directive requiring the owner to keep it on a leash from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. After the attack, the dog was placed under ten days of observation, but no signs of rabies were found.
As reported by the district outpatient clinic, the boy died before medical personnel could transport him to the hospital. Doctors confirmed his death at the scene, but the relatives decided to transfer the body to the Kara-Kulja hospital, where the child's death was ultimately confirmed.
The boy's grandfather received necessary medical assistance and was vaccinated against rabies.
The tragic incident occurred on October 22 in the evening. An investigation is currently underway, and relevant examinations have been appointed.
