Poet Anasbek Jumaliev

Poet A. Jumaliev was born in the village of Bala-Saru (now Manas District of Talas Region) in a farmer's family.
In 1965, he graduated from Chon-Kurgan Secondary School in Kirov District, and in 1973, he completed the correspondence department of the philological faculty of KSU.
He began his career as a senior pioneer leader at an eight-year school in his native village.
Since 1968, he worked there as a teacher of his native language and literature, and since 1983, he has been the deputy director for educational and upbringing work.
He has been publishing since 1979. He mainly writes satirical works on current issues. Currently, he is the author of two collections of poems and parodies.
He has been a member of the Union of Soviet Writers since 1987.
