The poet N. Jundubaeva was born on October 20, 1917, in the village of Kochkorka in the Kochkorka district of the Naryn region, in a family of poor peasants. From 1929 to 1934, she was raised in the Naryn orphanage, and until 1936, she studied at the ShK.M in Kochkorka. In 1956, she graduated from the Republican Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, and in 1967, she completed the correspondence department of the Almaty Higher Party School. From 1936 to 1940, she worked as a teacher in a primary rural school in the village of Kairma, and in 1940, she was elected the first secretary of the Jumgal District Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan. From 1941 to 1952, she held responsible party positions in the Kochkorka, Jumgal, and At-Bashy districts of the Naryn region. In 1952, she was elected chairwoman of the Cholpon District Executive Committee. From 1958 to 1962, she headed the department of party life at the editorial office of the regional newspaper "Tian-Shan Pravdasy," and then until 1965, she served as the director of the Naryn Regional Musical and Dramatic Theater. Since 1965, she headed the district department of culture in the Kochkorka district, and from 1971 to 1976, she was a literary consultant for the board of the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan in the Naryn region. Since 1979, she has been a personal pensioner of republican significance. She has been published since the late 1950s. Her first poetry collection "Algačky jadyrık" ("First Bell") was published in 1960. In 1970, a poetry collection "I am a Mountain Woman" was published in Russian. She has written several multi-act plays. Many of the poetess's poems have been set to music and are popular among the Kyrgyz people. The works of N. Jundubaeva have been published in the press of fraternal republics. She is a Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz SSR (1977). A member of the CPSU since 1940, a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1964, and a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR since 1960. She has been awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals "For Valorous Labor. In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V. I. Lenin," "For Labor Distinction," "For Valorous Labor," "Veteran of Labor," Honorary diplomas from the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR, and an Honorary diploma from the Ministry of Culture of the USSR. She was elected a member of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan (1940), a member of the Kochkorka District Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan (1946), a member of the Naryn Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan (1945, 1948), and a deputy of the Naryn Regional Council of People's Deputies (1956—1963).
