Prose writer A. Aitbaeva was born in 1917 and passed away on June 27, 1975, in the village of Chelpek, now part of the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, in a family of poor peasants.
From 1928, she was raised in an orphanage in the city of Przhevalsk, studied at a vocational school, and in 1929, she was sent to study in Frunze at a women's party school.
From 1931 to 1934, she studied at the school for national minorities of the Soviet East in Leningrad, where she received a general secondary education.
In 1941, she graduated from the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute, and in 1953, she completed the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in Moscow.
Her work biography began in 1934. She worked as a literary employee at the editorial office of the newspaper "Kyzyl Kyrgyzstan" (1934—1936), head of the department at the newspaper "Kyrgyzstan Pioneers" (1936—1938), geography teacher at a school for cultural and educational workers (1938—1941), literary translator at the Office of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR (1942—1944), editor of the newspaper "Leninchil Zhas", secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan (1948—1950), editor of the newspaper "Kyrgyzstan Pioneers" (1953—1954), head of Glavlit under the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR (1956—1959), and responsible secretary of the magazine "Kyrgyzstan Ayalary" (1962—1973).
Her creative biography began in 1936 with the publication of stories for children, essays, and feuilletons.
In 1960, her novella "Turmush Chakyrat" ("Life Calls") was published as a separate book. A significant work in the writer's oeuvre was the novel "Tamchy Kan" ("Drop of Blood"), published in 1966. This novel was translated and published in Russian in 1969. In 1971, a collection of stories "Galstuk Otca" was released in Estonian. While working in the republic's print media, A. Aitbaeva devoted much effort to creating essays, feuilletons, and journalistic articles that addressed pressing issues of social and cultural life in the republic.
A member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1945, and a member of the Union of Soviet Writers since 1959.
She was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals for "Labor Valor," "For Valorous Labor. In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V. I. Lenin," and Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
She was elected as a candidate member of the Central Committee of the Komsomol (1948, 1950), a member of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan (1948, 1953), and a candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan (1956).
