According to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, the incident occurred on October 11, 2025, around 6:00 PM at the intersection of Sitnikova and Oleg Koshevoy streets, when a man, taking advantage of the absence of passersby, knocked down and began to strangle the minor K.A., born in 2011.
The fact was registered, and a criminal case was initiated regarding the crime under Article 37-122 (Attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities, law enforcement agencies identified the suspect — a previously convicted A.R., born in 1994. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
