At the scene of the incident, the investigative-operational group established that on October 13, 2025, at approximately 18:30, in Kara-Balta on Chapayev Street, the driver of a truck, G.M., born in 1956, while moving in a southerly direction, hit two minor pedestrians — A.A., born in 2018, and A.I., born in 2017.
Unfortunately, both children died at the scene of the incident. In this regard, necessary examinations have been appointed to clarify all the circumstances of the tragedy.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the driver G.M. under Article 312 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Violation of traffic safety rules and operation of motor vehicles). The driver has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
