On October 23, 2025, the supply of drinking water will be temporarily suspended in some areas of Bishkek. The shutdown will begin at 9:00 AM and last until 10:00 PM, affecting residential houses, educational institutions, kindergartens, medical facilities, and other social and industrial establishments.
The restrictions will apply in the area covering Ankara Street, VBCJK, the Alamedin River, railway tracks, and Oktyabrskaya Street.
The reason for the temporary shutdown is the reconstruction of the "HBO" water intake.
The municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" apologizes for any inconvenience and recommends that residents and organizations stock up on drinking water in advance.
