In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, preparations have begun for a large-scale greening campaign. The city administration reports that, in accordance with the decision of the environmental council, it is planned to plant more than 10 thousand trees and shrubs.
Priority will be given to areas near educational institutions and adjacent plots. The municipal enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy" has already started preparatory work: excavations for planting holes and marking places for planting are underway in various districts of the city.
It is expected that the planting of seedlings will begin in the coming days and will be part of a comprehensive approach to improving the environmental situation and landscaping the capital.
