The Second Meeting of the Working Group of the Turkic Council on the Preparation and Conduct of the Tourist Festival "World Nomad Games" Took Place in Bishkek

On April 4 of this year, the Second Meeting of the Working Group of the Turkic Council on the Preparation and Conduct of the Tourist Festival "World Nomad Games" took place in one of the conference halls of the Ak-Keme hotel.

We remind you that the Nomad Games will be held in the Issyk-Kul region from September 8 to 14, 2014, alongside the International Issyk-Kul Sports Games. The tourist festival of the Nomad Games plans to welcome a large number of both tourists and participants of this competition on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Games will take place for the first time, and as previously reported, the headquarters of the World Ethno Games will be located in the city of Bishkek.

At the Second Meeting, the participants adopted a resolution on the rules of the competitions, on judging, on application forms, as well as on the conditions for conducting the Games in various sports.

Representatives from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Turkey, and the Turkic Council participated, while the Republic of Kazakhstan was unable to participate due to force majeure circumstances regarding the resignation of the Government.

We remind you that the First Meeting of the Working Group of the Turkic Council on the Preparation and Conduct of the Tourist Festival "World Nomad Games" took place in Istanbul (Republic of Turkey) on February 28 of this year.

The next meeting of the aforementioned working group will take place in the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 13-14, 2014.
