Construction of a large poultry farm for 185 million soms is nearing completion in Bazar-Korgon

The products will be aimed at meeting the needs of the markets in the Jalal-Abad and Osh regions.


A large poultry farm capable of housing 100,000 chickens is being built in the village of Zharake in the Bazar-Korgon district. The project has a total cost of 185 million soms, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Currently, work worth 105 million soms has already been completed, and construction is actively ongoing.





The process of putting the poultry farm into operation will be carried out in three stages:



- in the first stage, starting from May 2025, the cultivation of 31,000 chickens will begin;
- the second stage – from October 2025, an additional 31,000 chickens are planned to be raised;
- the third stage – from 2026, the breeding of meat breeds of poultry is planned.



A feed production workshop has also been built, which will start producing products from May 2025. Workers in the workshop will receive salaries ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 soms.

“The launch of this project will have a significant impact on improving the socio-economic situation in this region. The products of the poultry farm will help meet the needs of the markets in the Jalal-Abad and Osh regions,” the official statement notes.
