Inspectors faced threats from one of the poachers

In the Ak-Suu gorge, located in the Moscow district, law enforcement officers detained a group of poachers. This was reported by the Ministry of Nature of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the agency's information, on October 22 at 01:00 AM, employees of the biodiversity and natural territory protection department of the Chui regional office of the Ministry of Nature, in cooperation with a ranger from the State Hunting Enterprise under the Presidential Administration, went to the specified area after receiving a signal about possible poaching.

In the territory of the "Nysha" area, a Lexus 470 vehicle was stopped, in which four citizens with radios were present. Preliminary data indicates that illegal hunting was being carried out using two vehicles. The second vehicle was located about 300 meters upstream, where one person with a radio and a powerful flashlight was found. It is assumed that communication was maintained among the participants to warn about inspections. One of the detainees showed aggression and threatened the inspectors, which was recorded in photos and videos,” the Ministry of Nature reported.

In the morning, during an additional inspection, traces of gunfire, cartridges, and the carcass of a wild mountain goat were found on the opposite bank of the stream in the "Nysha" area.

All collected materials have been transferred to the Moscow district internal affairs department of the Chui region for the identification of the poachers and taking necessary measures.
