Minor Among Recidivist Robbers
Several young people have been detained in Bishkek on suspicion of robbery, including a minor.
According to the data from the capital's Main Internal Affairs Department, on October 12 at 06:30 AM, a resident of Bishkek reported to the police. He stated that he was robbed by unknown individuals at the intersection of Ibraimov and Frunze streets, who used force. He had his wristwatch worth 23,000 soms, 30,000 soms in cash, an iPhone 13 Pro mobile phone, and other personal belongings stolen. The total damage amounted to 235,000 soms.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 206 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement agencies were able to identify and detain the suspects: T.T. (born in 2007), J.B. (born in 2007), A.O. (born in 2007), and K.J. (born in 2008). All of them had previous convictions for similar crimes. During the detention, one of them handed over the stolen mobile phone to the police officers.
Their involvement in other similar crimes was also established. The police are appealing to citizens who have become victims of these crimes or have any information to report it by calling: 0(771)16-21-99, 0(702)32-65-91, or 102.
